Saleh Sheihk
Saleh Sheihk is a housing and accessibility advocate, community leader, and public speaker. He is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of DICE – Diverse Inclusive Community for Everyone. His work brings together underserved communities to advance accessible housing, inclusion, and equitable access to services.
Through community organizing, accessibility campaigns, workshops, and public engagement, Saleh works with grassroots groups, service providers, and decision-makers to identify barriers and develop practical solutions. His approach is grounded in direct relationships with communities and the belief that people affected by decisions must have a meaningful role in shaping them.
Saleh brings lived experience and an international perspective to his advocacy and leadership. His accessibility advocacy in African cities and community work in Canada inform his understanding of how housing, infrastructure, and public services affect people’s independence, dignity, and opportunities.
As a Board Member and Advisor at Transnova Group, Saleh contributes by bringing a community perspective to housing and infrastructure initiatives, emphasizing accessibility, meaningful consultation, and lasting benefits for local residents. He believes successful development should be measured by the opportunities it creates and by who can access them.
